A year ago today, dear visitor, we lost a dear friend, Jerry Sims, who was "Sonny Martin II" back in the mid- to late-1960s at KAAY. This is a picture from an obituary on the KATV website, where he was presented an award and was inducted into the Arkansas Softball Hall of Fame on July 2, 2011:

I have inquired if there was a video available; at the time this post was composed, there was a "we'll see what we can do" but not a firm promise. It would be nice to have for the blog, with credits of course...
Clyde Clifford always said, "Tell the folks you love that you love them, because, tomorrow, you may not be able to do it." I never told Jerry that and I'm sorry. In the meantime, of the great friends I have made through this blog, I try to tell them from time to time...
...Jerry, we love you....
