Jingles and promos were what made a station stand out...they weren't just an identification, it was personality, pizzazz, what made a station's identification "pop"!

Greetings to the plains states of Kansas Iowa Nebraska and South Dakota. You are tuned to the night time voice of Arkansas, KAAY little rock". I was in the army MP's Fort Riley, Kansas 74-76 and remember that promo booming in on my little portable radio while on patrol.
