This was a time when I certainly remember listening to K double A-Y, nightly from Milwaukee, WI. There was a pd, Marvelous Mark, who really made KAAY sound good. Do not know if this was the time. At that time, they were heavy on gold, recurrents. Too, for long distance AM radio, could also hear X-Rock 80, "WNOE-AM" (1060) was good. Tight playlists and these people were putting it all into AM radio. To me, the effort was and still is appreciated! Thanx so much!
