Alas, after 1972 when Clyde Clifford left KAAY and Beaker Street, different people headed up Beaker Street, as "the suits" saw fit. This aircheck was donated to A. J. by Greg Barman and features a "Ken Knight", who was Steve Morris' ("Steve Scott") friend Bill Jackson.

"GREETINGS, QSL'ERS!"
Thanks, Greg!
(Note -- this was reception of KAAY on the skywave in Evanston IL, just north of Chicago).

I was listening to Beaker Street at age 5, and I loved those weird sounds. I can still see me in my footsie PJ's sitting next to my five band portable radio on my bed. Excellent memories. I am glad that I used to stay up all night long on the weekends listening to the radio and no one ever tried to make me go to sleep.
