KAAY June 5, 1968 With Ken Knight

Here is Ken Knight (Jerry Pitcock) again!  Even at 8:04 PM, it was 82 degrees.  Thanks to Russell Wells again for this important historical audio....

Ken verbally stumbles a bit just before a Schlitz beer commercial...hey, it happens!  Just goes to show you that The Greats were human, too!

Hey, how about those great ads?  That Coppertone commercial!  I don't believe that commercials today have the same "guts" these early ads did.  So many people depend on digital processing, which is great, but sometimes the "human" side is somewhat lost....and where's the orchestra nowadays?

Oh, there's that giraffe again!  There's donations being taken to buy the animal at City Hall....

COMEX News was by Mike McCormick; because of the Kennedy shooting, they were even touting "gun control" back then....

Scoped on the music, the ads were complete...enjoy these great memories!
