Two voices we grew up with are now silent this week...
...actor Ed Reimers, voice of Allstate for 22 years ("You're in good hands, with Allstate")passed away Sunday, August 16, 2009; he was 96 years young. Many of us remember his reassuring voice on those many commercials over the years.

...and Robert Novak, columnist and TV commentator, passed away August 18, 2009, at 78 years young; I remember reading his columns for years and seeing him on TV:
